Gujari

Gujari (ISO 639-3 [gju]) is spoken by approximately 15,000 people in Afghanistan. The majority of Gujari speakers in the world are found in Pakistan (~348,000 speakers) and India (~1,290,000 speakers),

and those found in Afghanistan are nomadic and travel during the summer in eastern valleys. In Afghanistan and Pakistan, Gujari is written using the Arabic script, and in India using the Devanagari script.

A number of books have been published in Gujari in India, including encyclopedias, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction.
