Ormuri

The Ormuri language (ISO 639-3 [oru]) is spoken by a very small number of people in Afghanistan. There are approximately 2,000 ethnic Ormuri people in Afghanistan, but

their language is spoken only by the elderly in the community. This language community is found in Logar province. There is a larger community of Ormuri speakers in Pakistan (approximately 6,000).

Alternate names for Ormuri include Baraki, Baraks, Bargista, Ormui, Ormur, or Urmuri.
